A new Whakatane start-up needs your help with their logo design. Their is plenty going on in the studio this week, but I'm particulary loving working on the logo design for cool Whakatane based start-up: Flatout Riding.

Win Win Win. In the past 2 weeks I've recieved alot of emails from business owners that suspect their 'branding' is outdated & holding them back. I'm finding there are plenty of people out there that are wrestling with where their business is positioned with respect to their compeitors & looking to get proactive about doing something about it.

Ruby Dunes (Ohope Based Floral Designs & Objects of Desire) celebrated their first Birthday in the lead up to Xmas, putting a lid on a year that, if the number of people in the store at any one time are any indication, has been a resounding success. Between my partner & the kids I would say we own at least a quarter of the shop stock. I really like the way they have positioned their brand & think businesses of all shapes & sizes can learn something from the little Ohope Florist & Gift shop.

Trust me, the quality of your branding can mean the difference between success and failure. No matter what size your business is, branding is essential to differentiate yourself from the competition. It's your personality. And it needn't cost the earth. How you're percieved will depend on the effort you put into your marketing communication.
